The Hub - Fairy Meadow
Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services have a new drop-in service centre at Fairy Meadow. The Hub is there to support families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Our support staff can assist clients with all aspects of housing support, including accessing temporary accommodation, seeking in the private rental market and referrals to the Tenants Advice and legal services. In addition, our staff provide referrals to a broad range of community services such as physical and mental health services, youth services, financial counselling, welfare agencies and general legal service.
Staff will also provide assistance to any individual within the wider community with an existing tenancy who may be experiencing difficulties. Support staff are able to provide advice and referrals to programs and services which can assist clients to sustain their accommodation.
Services available will include:
- Housing services
- Referrals (health, legal, financial)
- Bathroom and shower facilities
- EAPA and work and development orders
- Services Australia (Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support Agency)
- Food and personal care packages

Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm
