Transitional Accommodation
Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services partners with government and other community agencies to offer transitional housing to families within the Illawarra who require additional supports to be able to find and secure longer-term housing. Transitional accommodation provides clients with safe and secure medium-term housing with the additional benefit of support staff to assist all family members to address any issues which may have contributed to their homelessness. The goal of transitional housing is to assist clients to access long term accommodation either in the private market or social housing which suits their individual needs.
